Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Simply Joyful Creator (the "Service"), operated by SIMPLYJOYFUL LLC ("we", "us"), handles. The Service is available to our team and to customers we have authorized, not to the general public.
Information from TikTok
If you connect a TikTok account, you authorize us through TikTok's official login. We then receive and store:
- Profile details for the connected account: its display name, username, profile picture, profile link and verified status, and its follower, following, like and video counts.
- An access token and refresh token that let the Service read that account's data until you disconnect it.
- For videos on that account: the video ID, link, caption, post date, and view, like, comment and share counts.
We never see your TikTok password. We request read-only access and do not post, edit, or delete anything on your account.
Other information we store
- Product details and images, scene descriptions, and the videos generated from them.
- The TikTok links and performance figures that team members type in by hand.
- Photos and details of any person used as an on-screen persona, who has consented to that use.
- Contact and sign-in details of the people who use the Service, such as name and email address, and billing records if fees apply.
How we use it
Only to run the Service: to show how each video performed and to compare videos and accounts. Each customer's data, including data from the TikTok accounts they connect, is used only to provide the Service to that customer and is never shown to other customers. We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or use TikTok data to build profiles of people or for any purpose unrelated to the Service.
Who else handles it
- Hosting and security: the Service runs on Fly.io, behind Cloudflare, which restricts access to authorized users.
- Video generation: product images and prompts are sent to a third-party AI video provider to create the videos. TikTok account data is not sent to it.
- TikTok: we exchange data with TikTok's API as described above.
- Payments: if fees apply, a payment processor handles card details. We do not store full card numbers.
- We disclose information if the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
We keep TikTok data while the account stays connected and for our reporting needs. When you disconnect an account, the stored tokens are deleted immediately. To have the stored profile details and performance figures for an account deleted too, email us at the address below and we will remove them within 30 days. You can also revoke access at any time from TikTok's connected-apps settings.
Security
Access tokens and data are stored on our server volume, which is reachable only by authorized users, and all traffic uses HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access and keep the Service up to date.
Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
